Manuel Fernandez Sanchez graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of Zaragoza.

His professional career, spanning twenty yeard, has always been linked to the world of ruminants - from his fist contact with practice in Bristol, Belgium and Scotland to his current responsibilities as technical manager of ruminants with the animal feed company Evialis Galicia.

His remarkable contribution to ANGRA(National Sheep Breeders'Association of the Rasa Aragonesa), for wich he developed programmes of genetic improvement and meat breed reproduction is worth a special mention, as is his work in Asturias (Spain) on bovine reproduction and milk quality.

His professional experience in different sectors combined with private clinical practice and dairy reproduction management have led to a through understanding of the needs of the veterinarian when solving reproductive problems in cattle. This photographic atlas is the work of a practitioner who undrstands the real problem of the field
